The holidays are soon upon us and it unfortunately looks like it will be a very special Easter this year. Before we break for the long weekend and everyone is off to…well, home - we would like to give you an update concerning the current situation for data collection and let you know about some products in the pipeline.
As anticipated our online surveys are unaffected by the current situation. If anything, we see an uptick in response rates and as a consequence our capacity and reach has increased. Our offline services were initially more challenged because of the required physically presence. We have however worked very hard to cater for the clients and projects that demand offline services and we are extremely pleased to share some solutions and innovations:
Telephone interviews: Obviously our staffs security is our priority number One, so filling up our telephone departments is no longer an option. Our brilliant IT team managed to create an in-home solution more or less overnight. We now have the same capacity as before the crisis. The only difference is that most people are working from home and that the remaining part keep their distance and rotate in teams.
Face to face: We have tweaked and digitalized our offering and now deliver as normal. All product-tests are done at home. We send products to the respondents’ homes and interviews are done online or on phone. Very simple and works perfect!
UX tests: We are using software that allows UX testing from home, both with and without moderators. We recruit people either from random sources or from our consumer panels. The respondents can participate via mobile or desktop and the experience and output is as good as any physical UX test. No difficult sign-in or limitations. The demand is high and the results very encouraging.
Online focus groups and in-depth interviews: We cater for all needs – allowing our clients to use various software like Zoom, Teams, Google Hangouts, Lookback etc. We have tested and tried a lot and are more than happy to advice on the best solution for your qualitative project.
We have also intensified our work on delivering visualization and dashboards. We are very happy to finally be able to give clients a 100 percent A-Z guiding on all kinds of data visualization. Norstat will remain dashboard agnostic and deliver into all known visualization tools. Our ability to build and develop dashboards from scratch have, however, significantly been improved during the last months.
The icing on the cake? Before summer we will launch a prototype of our newest DIY product, Norstat Express. The Norstat Express will enable you to tap directly into the Norstatpanels and to meet your audience in minutes. We are very proud of the fact that we have managed to operate at 100 percent since the start of the pandemic and made all products and services available to our clients in this difficult situation.
